    Body defect?

My complete kit was delivered a couple of weeks ago, with the body cut-out option. I just noticed today that there's quite a bit 'missing' or cut out on the lip just below the hood opening on the driver side. Is this normal? It almost looks like it's been cut. All the other lips seem to be consistent all around. As of yet, I have no experience at all in working with fiberglass but I assume it's possible to build up the lip with HSRF or something similar. Is it possible to build up a 'sharp' edge that is strong enough/will hold up over time, and look good?

I'll reach out to F5 as well but just wanted input from this forum.

    Thanks!
    Sam

It’s normal! That’s there to clear the drivers footbox.
