2015 IRS 11.65" Brake question - 12 point bolts necessary?
For the brake IRS brake calipers, FFR suggests the M12-1.75 x 45MM 12 POINT bolts in one of the caliper connections.
I did not get those bolts.
I have been to various fastener dealers and they do not have the 12 point.
Can I substitute regular 6 point bolts? Does it matter?

I don't see why a 6 point wouldn't work, but for what it's worth, I bought the correct bolts from Rockauto.com. I ordered rear calipers bolts for a 2018 Mustang GT. I think they were about $4 each.
Built an early MkIII years ago, sold years ago.
Got Corvettes out of my system, and now back after 18 years to build a MkIV.
MkIV Complete Kit Ordered 4/18/23, Delivered 7/11/23, 427 Stroker (in the process of building it now), EFI System - Edelbrok Pro Flow 4, TKX, IRS, Wilwood Big Brakes

I think they recommend them because the offer more clearance for the parking brake cables.
