    Ride Height/Front Tire Rub

I have an older MKIV build, I purchased used. I raised the ride height 1/2" last summer, to address a tire rub concern in corners, at the front. I have the Koni's adjusted to where the collar just barely touches the spring at full droop. This corrected the front right tire rub, but it still can rub on the front left (right hand turns). I am pretty sure I should not try and raise it more, creating a gap btwn the collar, and spring, at full droop? What about spring rubber spacers? Any ideas? Again, would like to fix the tire rub, but I seem to be out of adjustment. ride height is around 4" front, 4/5" rear. Why would only one of the two front tires rub? Camber seems identical.

Five things. (1) If the excess flashing around the wheel openings was not trimmed back and shaped during bodywork (2) Body is not centered side to side at the front (3) Incorrect caster---power steering should be 7 to 8 degrees positive; manual 3 to 4 degrees positive, both with .5-.75 degree negative camber (4) incorrect rim backspacing/offset (5) If 1996-2004 spindles were used they set the front wheels farther outward than Fox, '94/'95 SN95 or the FFR spindles.

It is possible that the car is level side to side but when there is a driver only the left side naturally sits a little lower. BTW, to check if the body is centered measure from the top coilover mount bolt out to the lip of the fender flare on both sides.

Differing camber side to side could also cause this, and it could be a pretty small difference not noticeable without measuring

What is the tire size, wheel size and wheel back spacing?
Also, some picture would go a long way.
    Good Luck!
